How To Turn Off SMS Popup Alert On The iPhone

In this video, I show you how to turn off the (sometimes annoying) SMS popup alert that comes up when you get a new text message. If you have iOS 5.0 or later, you can turn off the pop up and also change it to a banner instead if you so desire.

To do this, simply go to Settings, then Notifications, then Messages and select either None or Banners under the alert style.
