Impressive & Expensive: ASUS RTX 3070 ROG Strix – Thermals, Noise, Overclocking

Out of the 4 RTX 3070s we’ve tested so far (3 of them in our OC stream recap), the ASUS ROG Strix is the best we’ve yet worked with. It’s also the best RTX 30 overclocker thus far, including versus the 3080 and 3090 cards, except its more limited GPU prevents it from outmatching RTX 3080 GPUs. We’ll be looking at noise, thermals, noise-normalized thermals, and overall performance (and overclocking) of the 3070 Strix. Thank you for your patience while we work through all the RTX content.
