I purchased TWO brand new LED wallet cases. They were working until my note 8 and my dad ‘s note 8 had a software update. I LED lights would not work all of a sudden for both cases around the lapp time. I looked it up and obviously many customers were having the same emergence as us. I went to best buy to see what was wrong with the cases and the geek squad employee told me the trouble is a software and firmware issue. I told the customer service employee that I wanted to do a guarantee exchange. The employee told me the cases were out of best buy ‘s guarantee and that I needed to contact samsung alternatively. The beginning time I contacted them was at the end of NOVEMBER. The spokesperson said the cases were hush under manufacturers warranty, and I could get it replaced. All I needed to do was send the cases with a proof of purchase. I sent the cases with the proofread of buy in the box and emailed them my proof of purchase to the e-mail they provided. The cases were shipped overnight. They told me to give them a workweek or two to inspect the cases for any intentional damage or misuse. I called back two weeks former to ask for an update, and I was told that I can get a guarantee exchange for the cases. Again, they told me to give them one to two weeks for work and transport. I did n’t see an update or any cases in my chain mail, so I assumed transport was delayed ascribable to Christmas season being in truth busy. I waited till after Christmasto name. I received a textbook message from samsung stating I needed to send the proof of purchase or else the routine will be canceled. I called back to see what happened. I asked them why they asked for a proof of buy when I sent it to them 2 times in different ways. They equitable said “ We ‘re deplorable ”. Later on in the call, they told me the cases are presently out of store. The representative told me I will receive samsung give cards for the sum I paid for my two cases ( Can entirely be used on a samsung store on-line ). I was besides told to wait a few weeks for the department to process the guarantee to get the samsung gift cards shipped out. I waited and waited and still no endowment cards. I called rear to see what was talking excessively hanker, and the representative told me they do n’t know why the character did n’t get an update. They contacted the case coach and told me the endow cards will be mailed out soon after 1 to 2 weeks. I waited and hush no give cards. I called back and they told me I wo n’t get a samsung gift calling card anymore, but I ‘ll get a visa endow menu alternatively. Again, I needed to wait another 1 to 2 weeks. AGAIN, no endow cards. I called back on April 4, 2019 to see why the process is delayed. Both the spokesperson and the case director did not have an answer and merely said “ We ‘re blue about that ”. I was hung up multiple times that day with unlike representatives because there was “ an issue with the connection ” when I had full moon reception bars on my end. not amazingly, I was told to wait another 1 to 2 weeks for the endowment cards to be sent out. I am brainsick and tire of taking fourth dimension out of my interfering day to call Samsung to get this issue to be resolved. They keep stalling the process and my earphone is still case-less. To this day, I am waiting for the cards to be sent out so I can buy another case for my dad and I. I WAITED MORE THAN 4 MONTHS AND COUNTING FOR THIS TO BE RESOLVED … … … … … ….
